Bolota

Screen time, with a face

Bolota grows when you put your phone down.

Pick the apps that eat your day. Every time you open one, there's a small toll: breathe for 10 seconds or answer one question. Every minute away helps Bolota grow.

Built on Apple's Screen Time API with a daily self-check. If a block ever drops, it's re-applied and you're told.

  • Honest pricing

Blocking 1 app is free, forever. No paywall before you try it, and the 7-day trial reminds you before it charges.

  • Portuguese-first

Designed from day one for Portugal and Brazil, with English too. Real copy in your language, not a rushed translation.

FAQ

When does Bolota launch?

We're finishing the iPhone version now. People on the waitlist hear first and get to try it first.

Does it work on Android?

iPhone comes first. Android is next; join the list and we'll let you know.

Can Bolota see what I do on my phone?

No. We use Apple's Screen Time API, which doesn't even show us the names of the apps you pick: iOS only hands us anonymous tokens. We don't read messages or see what you do inside apps.

What if I really need to open a blocked app?

You can. Bolota asks for a small toll (breathe for 10 seconds or answer one question) and then lets you through. The point is to break the reflex, not to punish you.

What do you do with my email?

We only use it to tell you about the launch. To leave the list, just reply to any of our emails.
